  IMPLANON

“Maybe you’re looking for contraception that doesn’t require daily, weekly, or monthly dosing.”

IMPLANON is more than 99% effective in preventing pregnancy.

IMPLANON is a flexible plastic rod the size of a matchstick that’s put under the skin in your arm in an in-office procedure.

Some women may feel a slight pinch when IMPLANON is inserted, and any minor soreness at the site shouldn't last more than a day or two. Most women can’t see IMPLANON after insertion. Only you and Dr. Chick will know you’re using it. It doesn’t contain silicone and will not dissolve.

IMPLANON must be removed by the end of the third year and may be replaced with a new IMPLANON.

IMPLANON is not for everyone. Please phone our office to schedule an appointment with Dr. Chick to discuss the benefits of IMPLANON and if it’s the right contraceptive choice for you.

IMPLANON may be covered by your insurance plan.
